Police Notices - Recently Updated
For so many of us on the estate safety and the desire to live in a crime free community is high on our wish list! With the help of Essex Police, HRECI want to make that wish come true and to help, we've set up a Police Notice page.
To kick off, we've published two posters. the first is about community concerns and who you phone for non-emergencies. As you can believe, 999 is busy enough without everyday concerns clogging up the lines! The numbers given on this poster will take you straight through to someone who can help - whether that's reporting vandalism or maybe anti-social behaviour.
On Humber Road there is no current neighbourhood watch committee set up but if we can get the message out there that the walls have eyes and ears then maybe some of our problems will move away!
IF YOU SEE SOMETHING - REPORT IT !!!
Another big problem currently is bike theft. Many bikes are being stolen around the town where people leave them in their back gardens overnight - unlocked.
The poster on our notice page offers some really useful hints and tips on how to keep your bike safe.
